Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to step away from their royal duties, become financially independent, and divide their time between North America and the United Kingdom, aptly called Megxit, has given birth to so many questions. One of the most resounding is if the Duchess of Sussex will return to acting now that she has less serious things to think about.
One source said that Meghan is already looking for a manager to represent her in future professional projects. This fueled fans’ hope for her return to what she used to do before marrying Prince Harry.

Another clue was dropped in July last year during the Lion King premiere. Prince Harry pointed out to Bob Iger, Disney CEO, that his wife, who was then talking with Beyonce and Jay-Z, was interested in doing voiceovers. The official casually said they would love to try that.
Meghan also subtly pushed for that when she quipped to director Jon Favreau that they were actually at the event to pitch. Since then, rumors about her comeback grew louder and louder.
Earlier this year, after the couple made the controversial announcement, speculations about a voiceover stint for an undisclosed deal between Meghan and Disney started swirling. However, the former Suits actress will not be paid – instead, the company will donate to Elephants Without Borders, an organization that pushes for the conservation of wildlife.
According to the grapevine, this project had created a tension between the Sussexes and the royal family before Christmas. Apparently, this deal along with other unannounced ones do not sit well with the influential clan.

It is worth noting, however, that neither Meghan nor her husband has been paid for the work they had accomplished. Oftentimes, their effort and time would be exchanged for donations to the causes they believe in.
Meanwhile, if the hearsays are true, then this could help the couple thrive financially as they opted to stop receiving sovereign funds. In cutting ties with the crown, they plan to earn money from a profession, something that they can’t do as working royals.

After six years with the show, Meghan bid adieu to the fans of Suits and retired altogether as an actress to settle down in London, where his then-boyfriend was.
